"Blossom Bird Red" is an original, limited edition hand coloured linocut of a happy little blossom bird perched among the branches and flowers.  I love the way this little fellow is beaming out of the leaves! 

He has been created by carving the image onto a linoleum block, printing the block in black ink and then hand-colouring the blossoms with red watercolour once the black ink has dried. 

Edition: Edition of 99, each signed and numbered in pencil. My printmaking “chop” is stamped in red on the lower right hand side of the image

Paper: Fabriano Rosaspina White 285 gsm (a smooth 60% cotton rag printmaking paper, made in Italy)

Image size: 15cm wide x 10.5cm high

Paper size: Approximately 27.5cm wide x 21.5cm high (there are some minor individual differences, as the paper for each print is hand-torn)

Once these original hand-coloured linocuts have been sold out, no further originals will be available for purchase.
